A stage 4 design initially developed by RBS M&E Consultants was taken through RIBA stages 5,6 & 7, throughout the construction phases. The construction works involved modification and large alterations to the CAT A MEP installation to suit the new layout in line with their framework standards and occupancy levels.
As part of the refurbishment, the office required a tier 2 Tech room, including UPS systems and specified distribution systems, alongside the compliance required from the RBS CET team.
Large scale modification was undertaken to the lighting systems to enable full lighting control, alongside new general power modifications to suit the new layout.
Due to the new layout and occupancy increase, additional heat recovery units were installed, and modification was undertaken to the existing fan coil units. New N+1 air conditioning was installed in the tier 2 Tech room. Domestic services to the newly formed tea points were also installed.
The project was delivered in line with the MEP design, program and client expectations.
