As part of our ongoing collaboration within our established banking framework, DL M&E played a pivotal role in the implementation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations across multiple corporate office locations for a valued long-term client.

Taking on the comprehensive Design and Build responsibility for the entire rollout, DL M&E seamlessly navigated the projects from their initial conception to successful completion.

The initial project undertaken by DL involved the installation of 24 dual chargers, each equipped with 2 x 7.4kW outputs. Addressing the challenge of limited spare capacity on the existing incoming supply, DL proactively engaged the Distribution Network Operator (DNO) to install a new 200A TP&N supply in close proximity to the site, housed within an IKQ enclosure. This dedicated supply was specifically engineered to support the new installation.

To facilitate efficient distribution, DL introduced a new section panel enclosed separately, enabling power distribution to three TP&N distribution boards strategically placed in the field to serve the installation. Monitoring each distribution board independently through an intelligent load management system ensured optimal performance.

The success of the pilot scheme served as a testament to DL's expertise, leading to the subsequent delivery of several additional projects and solidified our position as a trusted partner.
